Salmon or 三文鱼 in Chinese, is easily one of the most consumed fishes in the world. Salmon has a unique taste and beautiful texture. Due to its high oil content, it retains its moisture well even after cooking. Salmon also has a wide array of health benefits due to its rich Omega-3 content which is highly beneficial to our cardiovascular system. Salmon fillet is also extremely easy to prepare and it tastes superb with just some light seasoning. Thereafter, it can be grilled, baked, poached, steamed, etc.
Our Salmon slab is ‘sashimi grade’ and can be eaten raw. Slice the amount of sashimi you want and keep the rest for consumption another day. Do note that the remaining salmon must be cooked and not eaten raw.
